Let's say you want to find the page of your attorney and bookmark that page, view it in a frames-free environment, or print it. On this site, some JavaScript coding prevents frames from being opened in separate windows. Turn off JavaScript and you can, but what a nuisance! Presentation of the publications is very poor, in part due to the multi-frame approach used here. Also, the publications are in the "What's New" section not the more logical (but nonexistent) "Publications" section. An interesting piece of content is the "Miss Grammar" column by Karen Larson, but it's lost in a cramped frames-based presentation. Also we think it's essential for websites to have mature search engines, but there isn't one here. |
