NEW HOST NEEDED FOR INTERNET LAW LIBRARY

February 25, 1999

The Internet Law Library was developed and has been maintained for the pastfour years by House Information Resources under the direction of the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the United States House of Representatives. The web site consists of (1) the United States Code and (2) links to thousands of legal resources on the Internet.

The Office of the Law Revision Counsel, which publishes the United States Code, will continue to host the United States Code portion of the site. That portion of the site was recently moved from the Internet Law Library site (http://law.house.gov) to a new site (http://uscode.house.gov). On May 28, 1999, the remainder of the Internet Law Library site will be closed.
