An awkwardly-worded title ("CEO Welcome to Dickinson Wright PLLC") starts off your visit to Dickinson Wright's site... why include the acronym CEO? (It's one of three uses of the title on the home page... one would think it could be left out of the title and we'd still know who he was.) This is a Lotus Notes-driven site, and the benefits of that are a nice interface to a back-end database (see the "Attorney Directory" for evidence of this - notice the ability to "expand" or "collapse" listings you're interested in). The firm has "Technology" as one of their sub-sections - a nice touch, as many clients are making a firm's ability to use recent technical developments a prerequisite to getting hired - but fail to provide any substance of their use of technology. The link to "Lex Dixit" leads to an "Under Construction" page - as a general rule, we recommend avoiding top-level links to ANY page that is not ready for prime time. Better to start smaller and do well than to start ambitiously and force people to see that you've not yet finished. You won't find any of the articles (at least we didn't) unless you check out the site map, in which you'll find a handful of attorney-written articles. We'd prefer to see dates on these... otherwise, how are you to know how current the article is?
