There is nothing remarkable about this site, though that isn't exactly a bad thing. Attorney bios include telephone numbers (but no e-mail addresses... an odd omission). Practice group profiles are thorough, and include links to publications. The publications are actually rather current, yet are hidden: the only way you'll get to them is if you click on "What we Do", then a practice area, then on "Publications." We think it's more likely that people will actually read the publications if they are given their own heading - otherwise it's safe to assume that there are no publications. Some presentation decisions were baffling: why make the text of pages like the Washington Office, Legal Recruiting and others into a graphic? This dramatically increases the download time, and little benefit is achieved. As a rule of thumb, text should be text. If you need graphics to enhance the presentation, use them. But there is absolutely no need for text to be made into a graphic - it needlessly forces the user to wait for long periods of time. (It also renders the text invisible to the site's own search engine.)
