This site makes an excellent first impression. The home page is 640x480 friendly, it uses a pleasing color scheme which flows from graphics to text colors, and it presents a logical site structure while providing a short paragraph introducing the firm and its strengths. The firm's practice area pages include links to lawyers in the firm who practice in that area as well as links to related external sites. Few law firms go to the trouble of tying together the elements of their site in this way. Page layout is excellent, and site navigation is via a simple client-side imagemap navigation bar. The only thing really missing from the site - and one that would raise our rating of the site considerably - is substantive content that would compel users to return. But this is a great starting point, one that can only get better with more content.
