When we first visited this site last year, we were impressed with the focus on client services: the clients-only online access to Brobeck's library staff, the site-wide search engine, the ability to search for your lawyer from the home page... all of these details made this site shine a year ago. Not surprisingly, Brobeck hasn't fooled with a good thing - choosing instead to simply add minor features that make a good site better. Links to each office location are now included on the top of the home page, and there is considerably more content than there was last year. One complaint: too much of the content was archival (and didn't include dates): firms produce hundreds of newsletters, advisories, and memos each year. At least some of those ought to be added to the firm's site each month. Doing so increases a visitor's interest in your site - and makes it more likely that they'll come to see your firm as an authority on that subject. If everything you have to say about a subject is from 1996, one might draw the conclusion that you don't pay that much attention to the subject... thereby reducing the likelihood that they'll hire you in that area.
