It is said that humor is a tool rarely used correctly; yet the folks behind Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aranoff's site have proven for the past two years that they can get it right. Last year we learned about Gomez's law ("If you don't throw it, they can't hit it."), and this year we learned about several famous ex-lawyers (Mel Allen, Howard Cosell, Julio Iglesias, and Ozzie Nelson among others). Hats off to the firm for providing unusual content that encourages visitors to stick around a while. Occasionally frames can be used well, but in this case the same effect could be achieved using tables - and some screen space could be saved and pages would be easier to bookmark. We applaud the firm's inclusion of "Publications" as a major subsection, but wonder why the majority of the content listed here is not available online - if the article is worthy of mentioning on the site, shouldn't it also be worthy of inclusion on the site? (And reprint permission - especially when the requester is the author - is rarely withheld by publishers, so that can't be the reason.) We continue to like this site, but would like to see more information available.
