This is a perfect example of why we generally DON'T like splash screens. The designer gave this page exactly three seconds to load, yet when we visited, the words "When Results are Critical To Your Future" barely showed up and the next page was loading. We never saw the image below it (a black and white drawing of an archer aiming at an apple on a colleague's head)... which means that the meaning of the words was unclear and the overall impact of the introductory screen was lost. Once inside, there's a lot to like: a small graphic indicates which section of the site you're currently viewing (not a big deal, but visual cues are nice). Anyone looking for a job at the firm (whether you're a practicing lawyer or a law student) will find plenty of decent information under "Career Opportunities", and prospective clients in particular will appreciate the "Technology Resources" (which describes the firm's use of technology). One glitch with the attorney bios: search under "professional profiles" and you'll get a full bio with picture and e-mail address (but no phone number), but if you search the attorney directory, you'll get the e-mail address and phone number but no bio. We think the two should be merged. Some pages are far too long and should be broken up into several sub-pages. The addition of substantial content (currently, only three articles are listed under "Reference") would significantly improve this firm's score.
