This is a dramatic departure from the normally staid world of law firm Web sites. The home page declares "It can be a jungle out there," and carries the jungle theme throughout its Web site. Some pages have pictures of tree frogs, while others have pictures of monkeys and other jungle dwellers. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it earns high marks for making a statement. The site itself is organized well, and uses frames for navigation (a horizontal frame across the bottom, instead of the more typical vertical frame along the left margin). A problem with the frames navigation: if a few levels into the site you click on the home page icon, you will load the entire frameset again. This results in two navbars along the bottom. While the firm could have more information in the "What's New" section (the most recent item is dated March, 1997), there is enough information here to get a good overview of the firm. The Java applet on the home page is nice for announcing new information, but it scrolls too fast and is difficult to read.
