We don't understand the perceived need to name your Web site (do you name your letterhead?) as this firm has done with "McCutchen On-line." No kidding. Nevertheless, we like the professional graphics and short narrative on the home page but were annoyed that our only option was "continue" (the "back" button is always available to us, too). The next page was a table of contents and a search engine. Output from the search engine was among the best we've seen, with the found pages' titles, URLs, and summaries displayed - with output sorted by relevance. Attorney profiles had a nice page layout and employed a narrative style. The navigation bar was cluttered, used an old server-side imagemap, and wasn't present on all subpages. The "Website library" was a bibliography of the firm's publications. There was substantive content on the site, but it was buried deep under "industry and practice groups" (not where we'd look for publications). And there is good content here, such as how to conduct patent searched on the Internet.
